Software Licensing & Asset Management
SLAM | Service Management | Data Intelligence| End User Computing |EATS
A key component in Asset Management is that of managing the software assets. There are a number of tools that will deliver software to desktop and servers automatically like Microsoft's SMS, Altiris, Zenworks and many others. Although some are able to deliver a portion of software compliance capability, we back end our SLAM service offering by utilising a number of solutions that will slipstream into your current environment. This enables us to deliver a complete compliance service by matching software installations with the actual license agreements
IDC's Asia/Pacific Semiannual Enterprise Applications Tracker results for 2008 reveal that the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) applications market in the Asia/Pacific excluding Japan (or APEJ1) region is estimated to reach US$136.9 million in 2009. It is expected to grow steadily at a five-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 10%, reaching US$233.1 million by 2013. The five-year CAGR for EAM application is the highest in the Enterprise Resource Management (ERM2) market for the forecast period. The other applications with high CAGR are Order Management at 8.5% and Procurement at 6.5%.

“The ITAM service from The Mastermind Group saved us hundreds of thousands of dollars through more efficient management of our licenses, used our existing tools to protect our current investment, improved the relationship with our software vendors (from the accurate records we now have) and provided us with the confidence of being able to predict and plan future IT spend. The part we valued the most was the trust we built with the TMG team and their ability to get the job done in a tight timeframe with a high level of quality. We now have a solid platform for software, hardware and contract management that we are building process on top of to provide a complete asset and lifecycle management solution”
